Bachelor of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences

Introduction

Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Science is a 5.5-year undergraduate degree program that focuses on natural healing methods and the use of yoga to address physical ailments. After completing the 4.5-year course, students are required to participate in a one-year internship. Naturopathy can be considered an alternative form of medicine that avoids the use of drugs or medications to promote healing and prevent illnesses. Instead, it emphasizes non-invasive and non-prescriptive approaches to health.

Eligibility and Selection Process

  1. Eligibility Criteria
    • Students should be at least 17 years old.
    • A science stream with subjects like physics, chemistry, and biology is mandatory.
    • Students must have a minimum of 50% marks in their qualifying exams.
  2. Minimum Eligibility

    The candidates must have successfully completed 10+2 in sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English) with Minimum 50% Marks (ST/SC/OBC-45%) from any recognized board of India.

  3. Course Duration

    BNYS course duration is 5.5 years, which includes both the academic and internship components.
